As well as an Adult Carers Area and a Young Carers Area there is also a Young Adult Carers Area
Locally known as a YAC, a Young Adult Carer is someone aged 16-25 who has a caring responsibility for someone. YACs are recognised as a separate group of Carers as they have different needs than Young Carers or Adult Carers. They are somewhere between the two. They are more likely to fall between the nets of Child and Adult Services.

TY CROESO DAY HOSPICE offers support to families and individuals in the Ystradgynlais area who are facing the challenge of living with long term illness. They enable people to meet for help, support, counselling and therapy. Services are free, but donations are more than welcome.
