Services
Resource Centre and Crisis Advisory Service
We provide a drop-in service which offers members a friendly and safe environment to meet people and socialise. It also provides a place to speak confidentially to a member of staff, as well as an introduction to the other services and support on offer, such as:
- Anger Management
- Anxiety Management
- Depression Self Management
- Mediation
- Relaxation Sessions
- Confidence and Assertiveness Groups
There is a place for everybody here. There is so much to do, like jewellery making and painting. They have lots of clubs to join. If there’s any problem, there is somebody to talk to.
Daughter of service user
We can provide information about all aspects of mental health, and arrange for you to get the support you need. Some of the issues we can help with are:
Healthy Eating
Healthy mid-day meals are provided twice a week. These are prepared by group members, overseen by a very talented and dedicated volunteer, and is a popular social occasion.
At Mind, we acknowledge the link between what you eat and how you feel.
Visit the Food and Mood page to read what it's about, and find out why the Mind Meal is so good.
The Mind Meal was devised by nutritional therapist Amanda Geary of the Food & Mood Project, and launched by Mind in 2000.
Activities, Projects & Courses
We also provide a diverse and user defined programme of activities. These provide an educational as well a health and wellbeing role. Details can be found on the Activities, Project & Courses page.
Organisations we work with
We work with a large number of organisations, both local and national. Information on these can be found on the Information page. We also host, and serve as an outreach base for, several organisations with complementary aims. Details of these can be found on the Groups page.
Cymraeg
Rydym ni’n flin fod y we sydd gada ni ar hyn o bryd, ddim yn cynnwys Cymraig. Os ydych yn siarad Cymraeg, mae sawl person yma sydd yn siarad yn Gymraeg.
We are sorry that our website’s not in Welsh, but we don’t have the resources at the moment to do this. If you’re a Welsh speaker, there are plenty of people here you can speak to.
